Charged £12.50 on app (which I had to download in the rain!) why do we need another parking app😂. When it was a Sunday and stated £9 weekend parking, yet no option for this online. Should know automatically no? Contacting about this, parking in York is expensive as it is without overcharging people.
I recieved a parking charge notice for parking in this bay, which does not have any signage indicating it is reserved for permit holders. See photo. I will be appealing the charge. Furthermore, the sticker was extremely sticky and will require something like IPA solution to remove. I will be asking for reimbursement for the costs incurred, and if they don't agree, I will take legal action. I suggest that anyone else who has received one of these stickers do the same.
I successfully appealed a parking charge against this company on the grounds their contract to charge for parking with Network Rail has run out! If you receive a PC , dispute it and ask for their contract, no matter what the situation is as APCOA have NO RIGHT OR AUTHORITY to charge for parking. No indications before going in to say whether it is full or not.
No spaces at all morning mid week. Nowhere near large enough for such a busy station.
I have been a regular and quite happy with the services until, all of a sudden, a huge part of the capacity reserved for certain permit holders. But their customer service is very kind and cancels tickets if you parked your car in a wrong bay by mistake. Hope they will increase capacity for commuters in the near future.
