Good car park paid £15 for 6 hours, all parking in York is extortionate so £15 is not too bad. However there are no prices in the car park and you only find how much it is once you scan the QR code which seems very deceiving. Plus the car park itself is tiny, there are probably around 20 spaces if that but you’d struggle to get large cars parked up if the car park is close to capacity. Overall it’s okay, the location is convenient to the centre and prices is reasonable, probably would park here again.
Monkbar Mews Public Car Park. Warning Avoid this car park like the plague. Luckily, i had parked elsewhere, but as i was passing, i checked the place out. It seemed odd that on a busy day in york, it was almost empty. The sign does not tell you the price you pay. Use the app, and they take what they want. It should be illegal not to clearly display the charges. How the York City Council allows this place to operate, I do not know. You have been warned.
0 star review. Do not use, paid £23 for 24 hrs at 3pm but got parking fine in post saying should of left at midnight
Do not use, thought I had paid for 24 hours ,then I get a parking charge, no pricing advertised,no receipt on the app ,no record of the transaction, just a bill on my card then a parking charge when I get home. Should have read the reviews,only use a firm that displays there prices.
World most expensive car park! 13.5£ for 3.5 hours. Prices only online when paying. AVOID. I wish there could be a way to rate it as disastrous. Should be banned by the council. Seconds away at least 2 times cheaper car parks. Do not fall in the trap. Waze app will show it also. Wish some developer takes it out.
