The parking is easy to find, good location. It's a ok parking nothing fancy about it. Paid toilets at the parking. Close to it you have a fish & chips place and few cafes, bakery. York centre is around 20-25 minutes walk depending where you go. It has parking for quiet a few coaches. Easy to get back to the ring road but during rush hour traffic builds up in the area.
Decent location not too far from city centre, but because it isn't in the centre it wasn't as full. Parking attendant is vigilant and we saw a few with tickets who weren't in spaces or hadn't paid.
Okay car park. Spaces medium sized. Be careful of kerb heights when pulling into space as they touched front of my car. Spaces were mostly full around lunch time when I arrived mid-week, so go early if you want to guarantee a space. Is a good 10min walk to centre of town on fairly narrow footway on busy road. Public toilets - you need £40p change to use them. There was one toilet with a card reader but this wasn't working when I tried to use it. Prices were average for the centre of York.
£11.20 for three hours. Went to the hospital and needed to extend my time. So I Rang the number on the machine and it put me though to Ringgo. They dropped the carpark years ago so you can't extend by phone, you can't even find the car park in the app. But the signs are still up. Dog water. Next time I'll park at the Hospital and pay a couple quid more but at least the bleeding machines work.
Close by York St John University. Parked just before 6pm. After 6 it's a fixed rate, but got charged for a full extra hour because we were just a few minutes early. Machines are automated, so no way to avoid the extra cost. Plus, Fridays are now priced as weekend so cost more. If this review was helpful please give it a like below.
