I’ve honestly never felt so uncomfortable dealing with a bank. Every staff member I spoke too was rude, patronising, and made me feel like a nuisance for simply trying to transfer my own money. It felt like they were doing everything possible to make the process difficult, which makes me wonder if that’s part of their policy..? After the way I was treated, I looked online and saw that I’m not the only one it seems like this kind of experience is happening a lot. I’ve now closed all my accounts and switched to an online bank that actually values its customers and treats them with basic respect.

Excellent Service today from a lovely lady, unfortunately I did not get her name. She was patient, understanding and kind.

Went in today to put some money in for a family member. The two Staff members on the floor there acted like they didn't want to help you or be there. one was rude which is odd considering your job is to help customers. would definitely consider switching banks...thankfully the family member i went to pay money in for is now moving banks i'm glad i did definitely after that experience. Maybe have a look at who the two women on staff were today and get them through some training.

This bank is a joke went in today to to close my late brothers account i have been granted probate etc. I was told bereavement department was the department i needed to ues over the phone or online however they could help and close the account and they did but would not release funds as it was now in the hands of the bereavement dept and they would be in touch. I was told probate didnt matter they couldn't release funds because they have system yes a flawed system at that unbeleaveble the bank wants to hold on to funds its a disgrace !

Why does no one want to help customers any more - was offered an appointment in Harrogate - why cannot I speak to someone face to face in York - I only want some advice - so disappointed in Halifax ~ will take monies to nationwide
