I’ve been getting my hair cut by Jonny for a few years now, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Jonny’s great, haircuts are always spot on, and it’s just a nice, relaxed spot. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

My wife decided that she would like to go out for dinner (again) tonight, and that she’d like me looking sharp for the occasion. My regular barber (G’s on Bootham - the best barber in York) is closed today, because poor G can’t find a good barber to hold the fort on his day off. However, determined to get a shape up, I headed to “The Good Folks” on Gillygate at 4:25pm …only to find them closed after paying the princely sum of £4.80* to park my car at Bootham Row for sixty minutes …they’re open until 6pm, according the their website. Not so good at all, “The Good Folks!” *Outrageous BTW, City of York Council.
