One of the worst courier experiences we have had as a business. Over an extended period we experienced repeated delivery failures where parcels were marked as out for delivery, shown as minutes away, and then simply never arrived. Tracking would disappear in the early evening, followed hours later by a “we missed you” notification despite no delivery attempt being made. Drivers repeatedly failed to make even the most basic effort to locate our premises. Our unit is clearly signed, located on an industrial estate, and easy to find. In one instance, tracking photos showed the driver was only metres away before abandoning the delivery. No call, no knock, no attempt to ask for directions. There is also no practical way to contact the local depot or driver. Any attempt to resolve issues routes back to a call centre that has no ability to actually fix the problem, leaving customers completely powerless while deliveries fail day after day. This caused serious disruption to our business, wasted staff hours, and put important customer deadlines at risk. The lack of accountability, transparency, and basic effort is unacceptable. Based on this experience, we actively avoid DPD where possible and would strongly advise other businesses to do the same.
You guys are absolutely useless throwing my parcels here and there and sending useless pics and confirming that you delivered the parcels. Since last one week I’m trying to track my parcels and still showing in York Depo if you can’t deliver so just say no why wasting our time. Your drive send time slots from 7am-10pm so we have to wait whole day for the delegates and then by 9pm ish send an apology that your driver can’t find the address what a joke. I’m happy to come and collect the parcel from deops if you are unable to deliver. Thanks
Pretty shit DPD unable to leave my parcel delivery with my nextdoor neighbour been stuck in 2 days now awaiting the promised return delivery which is still WAITING TO BE DELIVERED!!! And the new depot which is challenging to find (especially when Google wants to take you to the old Depot:) DOES NOT ALLOW COLLECTIONS. TALK ABOUT AN APPAULING SERVICE AND THIS IS AT LEAST THE THIRD TIME I HAVE BEEN SUBJECT TO THEIR GRUBBY STANDARDS OF SERVICE. I THINK THIS COMPANY HAS GOT TO BIG TOO FAST AND NEEDS RAINING IN (Needs heavy fines and more accountability)
DPD certainly do not deserve a 1 ⭐ I’ve just had a driver parked outside my house and then drive away without making the delivery. They cheeky drivers then updated the tracking saying he couldn’t find my house even tho it’s a cul de sac and he was parked outside my house. Then a long wait on the phone to be told we will upgrade you to vip and deliver tomorrow How? Why is this service so disgraceful 🤷🏻♂️
I am writing to express my severe dissatisfaction with DPD’s service. The experience has been completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. My parcel has not been delivered, and there has been no proper communication or support from your team. This situation is causing serious inconvenience, and I expect immediate action. I demand a full investigation and a prompt update on the whereabouts of my parcel without any further delay.
