Top class GP surgery with friendly and professional staff who are always happy to help. Am consistently impressed by the service received from both front desk and GP staff, appointments are prompt and waiting times to get one reasonable. An excellent local surgery.

As with most people I've had issues before with difficulties getting appointments and frustrations over how little help is available but can't fault them this week. Needed an inhaler while recovering from flu and was seen and helped promptly.

It might be getting better but 1. Difficult to get through by phone and twice filled in form to allow on line booking but both disappeared 2. Reception used to be very abrupt but now just offhand. Chatting away ignoring those waiting for example 3. I might just have been unlucky but a telephone nurse appointment was rushed and the practitioners frustration made clear. A referral by trainee doctor didn't happen and asking for a private referral on being told the NHS hospital wouldn't see me was told by the nurse that she did not make private referrals. Overall busy thought they clearly are, there are mistakes and less understanding than there might.

The short time I was with the practice I found constant lying. When ask to be referred to a private hospital I was refused the doctor saying I'm trying to safe you money I said nothing as been done so it's my money I want a referral again denied. When final I went private and got a referral for a scan this revealed I had a split vertebrae so much for the doctors apinion. More resent the nurse threatened to stop my medication if I didn't have my diabetes transferred to the practice this was putting me of have a hear attach or stroke. I left that PRACTICE IMMEDIATELY AND SIGNED ON to another practice. WELL RID OF.

Reception staff need some training on how to speak to people. God forbid you do your job without audibly sighing. I'd ask to speak with a supervisor but they also have such awful attitudes. The medical staff aren't much better...so much beurocracy putting patients health at risk. The fact these doctors are ok with that is disgraceful. Sadly the bad attitude, the lack of communication skills, and the terrible service are the same whichever surgery you register with. Maybe start doing some call listening and see how your receptionists are speaking to people. Or hire a manager who isn't just as rude and obnoxious as their team.
