Priory Medical Group - Heworth Green Surgery

Unfortunately my experience seems to be all too common at this practice reading through previous reviews. Incompetent and just generally useless. Wait weeks to be seen which I can understand with the current strains on the NHS but then text you an update with no way of replying or calling back without starting at the bottom of the ladder of waiting weeks to be seen again. Phone always say they are too busy to answer them yet every time I go in both receptionists are to busy nattering to each other. Am currently in the process of changing practices.

Absolutely terrible. Tried to request a repeat prescription on line as usual but the service was unavailable. Managed to contact the surgery by 'phone to be told I'd have to call in. Arrived at 12.45pm to find they were closed for lunch! Welcome to the new third world, a complete disgrace.

When i told them my pain was getting worse they said "that's just how life is now." Turns out it was chron's disease. Forgot to send my referral forms, forgot to tell me my abnormal test results, dismiss your pain, offer you antidepressants like they're sweets, and they don't take accountability. Incompetent and dangerous

A good practice that have always sorted me out over the years. Staff are all very nice.

I have just moved to the area and registered with this GP surgery and have found their service quite frankly awful! First of all they refused to make an appointment for me over the phone, directing me to their online appointment system which is completely impersonal! I then received a text saying someone would contact me in 6-8 weeks!! Since that time my symptoms have got worse and I cannot seem to get through on the phone now. Awful service and I will now be registering elsewhere.
