The worst GP practice/group ever. Was asking for help with 3 issues, never once had a referral despite asking for one, reluctant to prescribe an ointment and told me nothing was wrong. Changed GP, referred for imaging straight away, advised of inflammation in my bowel which describes the symptoms I’ve had for years that I repeatedly saw YMG about and asked for a referral for. Also struggled with PCOS, YMG advised against any medication and told me it’s all in my head despite having specialist reports. Told to lose weight for it despite my BMI being 24. Honestly, their favourite word is normal, so if you’d like to wait weeks for an appointment then to be sent to get some blood tests to be told everything is normal, this is your place!

About 8 months ago I asked for help because I've been going bald, developing a severe receeding hairline, and growing a beard and hair everywhere all over my body. I'm a woman. This is permanent, irreversible damage that requires extremely expensive surgeries and proceedures to fix, I can never afford this. They have been refusing me androgen blockers and had me on antibiotics the entire time, telling me my hormones are normal. I'm losing the will to live

Asked for non urgent appt today and got seen today. Doc was caring and helped me . I have never had a problem in the 20 odd years I've been using this practice, the docs, reception staff and nurses I have dealt with have always been kind, accommodating and caring

Requested an urgent appointment, clearly stated the only 3 days I'm unavailable, and they straight up ignored them and scheduled an appointment on one of those days, excuse me? The worse part is yet to come, they say 'contact us if it's not suitable', but how on earth am I going to contact anybody when the phone is constantly queuing, with no email and SMS available?

Don't use unless you're up for being told that a blood test doesn't indicate anything so you're fine, that the issues are health anxiety or any other reason that they attribute instead of acknowledging they don't know what's wrong. It took them over a year to realise I had COPD as Dr Robertson was the first person to bother examining my X-Rays and thanks to them my health record is royally messed up as there's no continuity of care. You get whose available. I used to love this surgery, but after being repeatedly let down, dismissed or fobbed off I'm done. It gets a one star because I can't leave zero but I will acknowledge if you have something extremely straight forward like a chest infection then they will at least give you a round of antibiotics.
