Join this group recently and it's been amazing. Dr Kelvin Pears has been wonderful like an angel sent. Checking back on patient is very important and which he's been doing.
Got a really good DR they took extra time folowed everything up and made good referrals Very hard to get an appointment at short notice. Parking is on site however its a small car park. Chemists nearby are in short supply however there is a small Boots the chemist not far away. Its not the easiest place to find so you might be better off asking for directions to Clifton Green primary school which is right next door.
I had an appointment back in November and have never felt so seen in a medical appointment. I had doctor Smith who really listened to me, was really validating and supportive, and put me on a new medication that has completely changed my quality of life and I am so grateful to her for that.
I've been trying to make an appointment since 9:00 a.m. I filled out the online form and I'm waiting because I was given antibiotics for a week and I still feel sick. they said that if I don't feel better after the weekend, I should call on Monday and they will give me sick leave for the next week, I called the reception and they said the doctor would call me at 5 p.m., they were closing in 15 minutes, and I didn't receive any call. it's terrible how it all looks and how long you have to wait!
Just about at my wits end with the service provided now. It should be simple to get an appointment. Submitting a request then waiting 5 weeks for an appointment its no wonder life has moved on and I am no longer free when they want me to be but instead of rearranging you have to cancel and then fill in the clunky onerous form and start the process again! Don't even ask about repeat prescription issues! I would hate to be really ill! The GPs are lovely when you can get past the ridiculous AI systems to meet with them. I cant quite understand how they think this system is easier for their patients, we need to be able to speak to a human!
