Touch screen wasn’t responding, but I was able to charge via the app. Charging speed was lower than I was expecting.

Problems with bp pulse machine whereby using it as a guest has issues, not excepted my card. Eventually, after four or five attempts, when you get to charge your car, any issues, you cannot remove the nozzle from the car. Phone BP pulse staff for help they try with no success and then they tell you they’ll do a call-out which will take up to 2 hours. Question, what does want to do when they have a autistic child in the car and it’s cold at night?

Utter garbage. Old chargers still branded with the 'Chargecar' Logo, ID number and App selection. Realised that it was BP only after calling the 0191 number listed on the instructions. One charger out of service (this was scrawled across the top in black marker) and the other CCS had a smashed plug leading to an error. Shame on you BP/York Park & Ride - how the hell can we expect to switch to EVs when the charging infrastructure is this shoddy? You really need to do better, imagine if this was one of your precious petrol pumps? Avoid.

It was useful being able to use the app, but it would have been good to see the current cost of the charge as it was actively charging, as I didn't see the balance until the charge was complete, which then was more than the credit I'd put in. It was better for me, that it didn't stop when I'd run out of balance as I did want a full charge, but for those on a tight budget, they might not expect that
