Slow, expensive and got a soaking for my efforts. Some shelter would be appreciated, and the costs were inflated because of the need to pay for parking as well. £17 for 3 hrs in which time I was only able to add ~20kW. Pulse chargers worked though.

Great way to see the city. These are slow charger and you can park the car and come back to see your car sufficiently charged at cheap rates. Yes these show as BP but York Council pricing apply, so they are charged at 44p . My car charged 27 KWH in 4 hours. Also if the charger doesn’t work try another one rather wasting time. Also simply navigate to Marygate Car Park as these are in council car park. Parking charge also apply.

Unable to use contactless even though the government wants every charger to be set up for it. Had to download the App to use the charger and had to ring the helpline to find out this information. Also very expensive 65p kW for a slow charger is pure greed from BP. Bring down the prices BP and get your chargers up to date. More people might use your chargers then.

There are a large number of charging points available at this location. The charge cost was very good compared to many other providers. It is super convenient to be able to park and charge the car whilst exploring the city - just be aware that you also need to pay the parking fees and they are quite pricey!
