I cannot thank Andy enough for the help he’s given me with my car. My car broke down on Wednesday and I dropped it off to him on Thursday afternoon, by the next morning he had called me and fixed my car to ensure I was able to use it over the weekend. Amazing and friendly service and will be going back for my MOT! Thank you so much Andy :)

Just turned up on the off chance of getting advice but they went one step further and fixed the problem on the spot. We were very grateful as it was faulty brake light so needed doing. Really pleased with the service given. Many thanks

Can’t fault Andy at ACM. Always gets the job done and at reasonable rates. You can always tell how good folk are by how busy they are and Andy is always busy. That said he will always try to help you out if he can and he has for me on multiple occasions. My advice to anyone needing work doing on their motor is just get booked in.

Legend of a bloke is Andy, always willing to help no matter how busy he is! Reliable , trustworthy and attention to detail with anything on your car . Would recommend for anyone .

I will give this garage 10 STARS if there is an option. I'm giving all my stars to ACM motor services. I didn't have any appointment, so I walked in as my car needed urgent repair as I have failed my MOT (but still due for MOT). As I entered inside, a young boy greeted me, I said I need your help urgently to him and he called a man behind the car (I guess his father, it was not audible). I showed my failed MOT sheet to him and said I need to change my brake pads immediately and want my car. It was 11 am at that time. He took my paper and asked for my name and phone number and said he will call me as soon as he gets done. I said I need it by 2 pm, he said okay 👍. I handed over my key and received a call at 1 pm. While paying, I was short of £1 and he said, it's fine. It's fine. I felt shy 🙈 and again £5 short on another day 😌. I asked him if he could fix the rest after 2 days and still asking to give me the same day. He told me to come in the morning. I went back, he was a bit confused about our appointment dates (he still took my key) and gave the failed MOT sheet again and told that he will call me as soon as it's done. If ANYONE has broken down your car or needs urgent repair. I suggest ACM MOTOR SERVICES. It's just a 5 minute drive from York Minster, car parking is secured and available, the garage was neat and clean. Even after repairing we can give a test drive around his car parking area without any worrying. Again, if you go to this garage, you can save half the amount from which you have done from another garage. I saved £500 and I saved my time too. I'm happy and satisfied now. I am not saying that other garages are not. All are good. In the fast world, who wants to keep our car weeks at the service centre or wait for a month to get repaired 🚗 On first day, I asked him how much does it cost for fixing the break pads. He told £70 to £80 including labour cost. Where I was charged less than £200 somewhere else. Second day, I just came and gave the key. I wasn't worried about the charges 😍. Thirdly, HE is the only person I meet who can't say NO. He still was fully scheduled on the very day, still accepted me. (I tell due to appointment issues, time may differ). I have recommended a few of my friends to change or fix or get done immediately, visit ACM MOTOR SERVICES. Thank you 🙏 😊 🙏
