A lot of heavy hair styled just as requested into light and snappy layers. Done whilst on holiday in York by James at Hair at Number 20. Salon chosen by my daughter and she’s very happy with her choice.
I couldn't be happier after my first appointment with James. He understood exactly what I was hoping for and I had every confidence in his expertise which resulted in a really good cut (my fine hair hadn't seen scissors for 7 months). The timing of the appointment was spot on too. I'm looking forward to next time. Thank you.
Just had a great appointment with James. Really delighted with his understanding of what I was trying to achieve and the fabulous cut. This a wonderful salon where Matt and his team always try their best and in my experience always deliver stylish and professional hair cuts. I can’t rate them highly enough.

Not an experience with service, but staff. It had been raining, and for around 5 seconds I chose to seek shelter while I gathered myself, near the shopfront. I was shooed away as quickly as I came - while I haven't talked to the staff themselves, whoever decided to tell some drenched, freezing kids to move while they were dry and cosy really ruined my whole views on what I'm sure is an otherwise lovely place.
