Nuffield Health York Hospital

I’ve just returned from Nuffield York after a hernia operation, and the care I received was outstanding. Mr. Chitsabesan and the whole team were fantastic — professional, kind, and reassuring throughout. Nurse Tori Rosheen was especially helpful and patient, answering all my questions with a smile. The facilities were spotless, calm, and comfortable. I felt completely at ease and very well looked after. Thank you Nuffield York!

I was in Nuffield York for a sigmoidoscopy on the 2nd December and stayed overnight. From the friendly reception staff to the doctors and nurses I received first class treatment everyone was kind and caring taking time to explain the procedure and what would happen. Having had a bad experience with a colonoscopy at another hospital I was very apprehensive but Dr Robins and his theatre team put me at ease gave me a warm blanket and due to sedation the procedure was over before i knew it and was completely painless. The catering is top class lots of choices and beautiful fresh ingredients. I have been to other Private hospitals but can honestly say the facilities and the care I received outclass them all.

Well obviously not looking forward to a new hip replacement, but I had received treatment at Nuffield before and I had never been dissapointed. It was just a 5 star experience from start to finish. Everyone I was involved with from start to finish were excellent, from reception through to the wonderful catering staff. The nurse's were kind, caring and extremely professional.Mr. Peter Campbell, the consultant surgeon was a 12 out of 10, as was all his staff. All the staff at Nuffield health in York should be really very proud on the services they supply. Outstandingly excellent. Mr. C. R. Penrose

This was my first experience of the Nuffield. From the first appointment with the consultant Mr Britton, to the radiographer, nurse staff, to the team carrying out the total right hip replacement, anesthetist, ward nurse, recovery room staff and health care assistants, physiotherapist and of course the Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon Mr Britton, they were all fantastic; friendly very professional and caring. I could not fault a single member of staff I interacted with, which must have numbered 15/20 people in total. The care on the ward was great, the surgery team were very reassuring and discharge was quick and efficient.

I have been a patient here for thr last 3 years and had 3 surgeries, one yesterday. The treatment I received is 5 stars plus, I genuinely was treated with so kuch care, compassion, friendliness and everything was explained clearly and in detail. Every operation they seem to have improved their standards. A big thank you from me to all the staff and I would highly recommend this hospital.
