Don’t use this place for dry cleaning. It takes 2 months! I left a pair of trousers and a shirt there, and was told to return in a week. One week later I came back and he hadn’t even touched it. He told me to come back a few days later and it still wasn’t done. I returned around 7 times in 2 months, where he said the same thing until he finally decided to dry clean it. No apologies and no discount given. Just bad service overall.

We did our laundry twice while visiting York. The man running the place was very nice and friendly. Always very helpful to me. The place is small and a bit crowded but everything was working good.

The guy running this shop is dishonest.He approached me after I'd loaded my clothes into a dryer.He came over to "assist".I asked how long I should dry them for and after feeling the clothes he said 15 minutes .I asked for change for a tenner and he gave me back £7 and then put £2.10 into the machine.I asked for the other 90 p and he said it was my fault because I'd loaded my clothes into a service wash dryer and not a self service dryer.The dryers are all together and none of the others were in use.He just put my change into his pocket.It's not the 90 p it's the despicable way he dealt with me.What a dirty shop.How anyone could wash their clothes in there is beyond me.He should clean his machines and get the green mould off the washer doors instead of picking people's pockets.

Awful service and the guy who served me gave me a price on the day and then when I collected said it would be over twice as much as what he originally told me the charge would be. Dishonest and shocking business. Would not recommend. I was looking for a regular service but definitely won't be coming back after this level of dishonesty.

Came in with a large mixed load of washing and was told to put all the clothes in and I requested to set at 40c max - I've never had any issues ever at this temperature in terms of colour leaching. Went across road to get cash, Went to sit in my car, came back in, took my clothes. Checked today and three of my expensive whites are now completely ruined and covered in dark dye. Never using this place again.
