Used this place whilst waiting on our new washing machine arriving as doing everything by hand wasn't feasible with such a large family! Superb, quick service where 2 big bags of various clothes were washed, dried, and even folded within 2-3 hours. Very much appreciated and couldn't have asked for better. Highly recommended.

Great experience. Had a load of laundry washed, folded and delivered to my hotel in York. Price was fair and service was very friendly. Highly recommend. Please note that when I was there it was a cash-only business. Not a big deal at all just something to keep in mind.

Wow, this wonderful couple were amazing. They laundered our clothing, folded, bagged, and delivered it back to our hotel in under 4 hours while we popped out of york for the day. Highly recommend. They are friendly, polite, and full of knowledge about York and the surrounding towns. Thank you for your kindness.

Highly recommend this laundry service in York! Sam was incredibly welcoming, guided me towards an ATM a minutes walk (they are cash only), delivered our laundry to our hotel the same day, and also gave us a few things to check-out while visiting his town. An 11/10 experience that I did not expect when walking into a laundry service 😀 Big thank you Sam!! We greatly enjoyed the coffee and castle museum! Take care my friend

Had a wonderful experience with Walmgate Bar Laundrette. We dropped by when we first arrived to York around 1pm and our laundry was ready and waiting for us when we checked into our hotel at 5. The owner was lovely and so helpful. Also shared some great tips on how to make the most of our time in York. Thank you!! Would definitely recommend.
