Great experience. Had a load of laundry washed, folded and delivered to my hotel in York. Price was fair and service was very friendly. Highly recommend. Please note that when I was there it was a cash-only business. Not a big deal at all just something to keep in mind.

Wow, this wonderful couple were amazing. They laundered our clothing, folded, bagged, and delivered it back to our hotel in under 4 hours while we popped out of york for the day. Highly recommend. They are friendly, polite, and full of knowledge about York and the surrounding towns. Thank you for your kindness.

Had a wonderful experience with Walmgate Bar Laundrette. We dropped by when we first arrived to York around 1pm and our laundry was ready and waiting for us when we checked into our hotel at 5. The owner was lovely and so helpful. Also shared some great tips on how to make the most of our time in York. Thank you!! Would definitely recommend.

As I was backpacking through the UK, I needed to quickly get some laundry done. Highly recommend this place. Delivered my clean laundry to my hotel, and even gave me some great recommendations on things to see as I left the shop.

We were traveling through the UK and in desperate need of some clean clothes during our stop in York. Walmgate was like an oasis in the desert. We dropped our clothes off at 9:30 and they delivered them back to our hotel at 2, cleaned, dried and folded. I’ve never been so excited to see a fresh, clean pair of socks. On top of the excellent service, the owner gave us advice on where to go during our time in York. Note! They only accept cash. And while many of us Americans think everyone wants US Dollars, that’s not the case and this business just wants British pounds. There is an ATM at the convenience store around the corner. Good luck on your travels and don’t be hesitant to use this wonderful business.
