Kevin came out to look at changing our front door lock to one that automatically locks behind you. His excellent advice and integrity regarding the current state of our lock meant we didn’t get the job done. Instead, Kevin fit a new handle and locking mechanism on our garage door. The work was not trivial and required planing the door etc. He did all this while getting wet through in the rain. The final result was a double garage door that opened smoothly and required very little effort to lock and unlock. His attention to detail regarding the handles used and cutting away/sanding awkward parts of the door really shocked me given the slap dash job many tradies do. If I have anymore work for Kevin I wouldn’t hesitate to give it to him as it’s very hard to find people that are that competent, reliable and honest.

Kevin came very promptly when we had a problem with our door. He was very courteous, kept us informed about what needed doing and what our options were, fixed the problem and we appreciated the fact that he tidied up at the end. Fantastic service - would highly recommend.

Absolutely excellent service! I called Kevin asking for a lock to be changed and he came as if by magic within the hour! He's an utter gentleman. I'm sure it was quite evident to an expert like Kevin that I had absolutely no idea what I needed to be done with the door but he was incredibly patient with me, didn't make me feel daft at all for not knowing, he explained everything, made sure I wasn't paying extra for something that I didn't need! I can’t recommend Kevin from Laurel Bank locksmiths enough - great communication, very professional and excellent service. I phoned on a Saturday with a non-urgent issue & Kevin booked the job in the Monday morning, fixing the issue within 48hrs. Kevin was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and highly professional. All of the work was completed to a very high standard and at a very reasonable price. Before starting the work, Kevin took the time to explain the issue to me so that I understood what was needed, and how to prevent the issue from happening again in the future, he also cleaned up any mess that was made afterwards. My front door handle also needed changing, which Kevin very kindly showed me how to do myself so that I could replace with a matching one & save a little bit of money. Kevin has completed various jobs for family members over the years; they speak very highly of him & have always found him to be very reliable, professional and responsive.
