I'm on my fourth attempt to collect a parcel from Birch Park Depot but frustratingly the opening hours on Google and the royal mail website are incorrect. I was one of many people turning up today, only to find it closed when it should be open. Google I can understand, but your own website? I even tried to call ahead to confirm the opening hours as I no longer trusted their website, but there was a 30 minute queue. One day I might get my hands on my parcel.....
Got a notification that my parcel was delivered. Excited all day. It wasn't. A slip telling me to go to birch park to collect it was delivered. Birch park. Which is open 8am to 10am, perfectly normal times that definitely aren't when most people are commuting or working. Absolutely useless.
Update; Still the most useless post office in Britiain. Went to collect parcel that should have been delivered (met the postman each day and he apologised and said it wasn't in his bag - not his fault). Collected parcel from Birch Park and they didn't know why it hadn't been sent out for 3 days. (Side note, I'd had a pen explode in my bag, I asked politely if I could put it in their bin, lady said blandly "we don't have a bin"... I could see one right behind her! Just unnecessarily unfriendly and mean. May 2023: I've cycled all the way out here and it's not open. CHANGE YOUR GOOGLE OPENING TIMES AND STOP WASTING PEOPLES TIME. I paid for next day delivery guaranteed by 1pm on TUESDAY. They've finally tried to deliver today (Thursday) and I was at work. It now says I can't change it so it goes to a post office tomorrow but I have to be out tomorrow morning so I will miss it AGAIN but I need it for a wedding I'm shooting ON SATURDAY.
Why are you only open 8am - 10am, weekdays when most people are commuting and/or at work and then only 8-12 on a Saturday when more could probably collect and then closed completely on a Sunday, when even more people are likely able to collect?
