Haxby Road Post Office

Been here twice recently once to tax the car, only to be told they do not do that at this branch, despite the PO website saying they do.today got there at 2.05pm to be told that they closed the Post Office area at 2. Well I checked before I started out and Google says 6pm, plus they have a lovely sign spinning in the wind outside saying Post Office open. Utterly useless

Staff was unhelpful and unnecessarily rude. I had a parcel to pick up, I showed a gentleman the email with my tracking number. He asked for my name and I told him, he had zero patience going through the list. He abruptly said my parcel hasn’t been delivered, I showed him a picture of my parcel on his table on the Royal Mail app (which shows it was delivered the previous day)and he rudely said that means nothing !!! Then made some other rude unnecessary statements. I waited for a few minutes then approached him again, asked if he could check for my last name on his list and he saw it. I was not in the wrong but this man made remained rude all through my experience.

Had requested an eBay purchase to be delivered here by Royal Mail. The gentleman could not find my name on the list and when I showed my email confirmation he very abruptly told me I was wrong and that yodel delivered said item ( which they did not). Surely there is a more polite way to help and communicate with customers.

Extremely rude and unhelpful staff, the worst post office service I ever received, Royal Mail definitely need to retrain and investigate this place. Avoid this place with all costs, DO NOT Waste your time here!

Incredibly rude woman on the counter. Not sure why they have the post office as any service from it appears to be a huge inconvenience. The only thing I'd give a high rating for is consistency as rudeness is guaranteed.
