York Road Post Office

Had to post a return parcel for my daughter. Id tried another post office but they couldn't help me, because i couldnt print my label off. The staff here were so helpful helped me print it and get sorted. Excellent service.

I have been in this area since July this year and find the staff at Acomb Post Office / one stop shop extremely friendly and helpful. They offer a wonderful service here and seem to do absolutely everything!

Yesterday witnessed the short large lady with short blonde hair that works at Acomb York rd post office treating a customer (who was clearly on hard times) absolutely disgustingly - basically chasing the poor bloke out with an air freshener and making comments about him in front of other customers, absolute bully. Have witnesses of this and we have taken this further, vile staff.

Love this shop and post office! It really has changed over the years since the current owners have taken over and the owner and his staff are really making an impact on the local community. The shop is well stocked and I choose to shop here as I like to buy local and the owners have introduced many a range of produce from local businesses which is always favourable in my opinion! They really are welcoming and friendly and can’t do enough to help. So happy to finally have this little hub on my doorstep! It’s so convenient.

This Post Office charges for checking DVLA forms when they are not qualified to do so. Disgusting. I am an individual and do not work for the Post Office as the staff member replying here has tried to say. You checked my Fathers driving license and it was incorrect. You charged him £5 for doing so and when I complained to the Post Office Customer Services, I was told that Post Office staff are not qualified to check driving licenses and you should not have charged my father. Disgusting.
