We used Cowling, Swift & Kitchin for our recent house sale and purchase and have been thoroughly impressed. We had a complex land problem to resolve which we felt completely out of our depth navigating however Holly helped us to understand the process and the different outcomes we faced. We really appreciated her honest approach and felt she invested time and care into resolving it for us. My partner and I used Cowling, Swift & Kitching for the purchase of our first home based on the recommendation of our agent. Initially their communication was poor, often receiving responses that were brief and sent toward the end of the working day, leaving us little time to respond. The process was slow in periods as we often felt we had to chase and encourage our solicitor to chase our sellers. After a number of complaints we were left with dealing with Jonathan, rather then Melanie or Hannah, who was better in terms of communication and action. It is a shame it took us complaining numerous times before it felt they were actioning the process and advocating for us, as Jonathan was brilliant at this following our complaints. I would recommend their service but encourage them to be more responsive and active when supporting people to buy a home.

Had a very positive experience with Holly and all of her team, through what was a very challenging house sale and purchase. They were always friendly, efficient and helpful, and responsive to any questions or issues that arose. Would definitely use again.
