Bar Hashery Bakery/Patisserie

An incredible bakery! The croissants were buttery and flaky perfection, and the chocolate chip cookie was the best I've ever had. The staff was so warm and welcoming. This is my new favorite spot—highly recommended!

Thursday of last week, I passed by Bar Hashery on my way to Divine coffee shop. I looked in, said I'd be back. True to my word, I retraced my steps and returned. A lovely little bakery, sourdough bread, pastries, cakes. An interesting conversation on sourdough bread. I would have happily purchased a sourdough loaf, but had purchased a sourdough loaf only the previous day outside Lincoln Central Market. I came away with a feta and spinach pesto bun. Cooked that evening, fan oven 175C for ten minutes, was excellent. Coffee was sourced from Origin. A better choice than Divine.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Bar Hashery bakery at Micklegate for the absolutely delicious eggless cream cake we ordered for my friend's birthday party! The cake was not only beautiful but tasted amazing — soft, fresh, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Everyone at the party loved it and couldn't stop praising how light and flavorful it was, especially considering it was eggless. It truly made the celebration extra special. We really appreciate the attention to detail and the quality you put into your work. We’ll definitely be back for more special occasions. Highly recommended.

The best pain au suisse I have ever had. Also brought some of their other pastries and sourdough bread. Absolutely delicious.
