Crumbs Cupcakery

Omg, these cupcakes were amazing! This is such a cute little cafe right outside the Cathedral. The staff were so friendly, and they do the best gluten free cupcakes I’ve ever had! They tasted so delicious and homemade, I can’t wait to come back to York and come here again. Thank you! :)

We’ve been here several times for cupcakes and coffee and are always impressed! We recently had our baby shower cake made here and it was perfect. Charlotte was so lovely from the beginning, made the perfect cake and all our guests commented on how delicious it was 😊

We came here as my daughter wanted a cupcake and we hadn’t been for a long time. We sat outside in the glorious sunshine looking at York Minster in a lovely atmosphere. My daughter enjoyed a chocolate orange cupcake and I had a latte. I tried the cupcake and it was delicious as was the latte. The staff are lovely and nothing is a problem. Definitely a must visit if you’re local or visiting!

This lovely little cupcake shop, just off Goodramgate and by that little green behind the cathedral, has been going 7 years now. Testament to an excellent product. I always like to stop by when I’m in York, pick up some cakes. They do a good core choice (lemon and chocolate orange are both excellent and were my choice this week) but the real delight lies in the daily specials. The ones with the little caterpillar cakes on top were particularly memorable, ditto the mint aero special. £7 for two cakes to take away. Despite my best efforts, I have never managed to coincide a visit to York with the appearance of either the Battenberg or Cherry-Bakewell topped specials. I shall continue to hope for more auspicious timing though 😆

Nice littel shop, with a beautiful view of the cathedral, and amazing cupcakes, coffee and hot chocolate. Definitely worth a visit for a afternoon tea.
