Coffee was nice, but are very small for the price — a medium feels like a small, and a large more like a medium. The place is extremely popular, but to be honest it felt overpriced. I didn’t try the food, so can’t comment on that. Coffee was okay, but only really worth it if you’re desperate — there are plenty of better coffee spots not far away.

I had the pleasure of visiting the bakery on the day it reopened. It was brilliant! Super friendly and knowledgeable team, comfy seating and best of all amazing food! We shared a sausage roll and a scone between two of us which was more than enough to fill us up for the morning! Loved that they had samples on the counter too - always a good draw for me!

Lovely place to do a brunch. Coffee was really tasty and the sausage roll was really good also. The door had to be opened for a reason and that makes the place a bit cold inside but other than that it was a really nice stop.

We popped into The Cornish Bakery on our way back to our AirBnB after a long day exploring York and we thoroughly enjoyed the treats we bought! The mocha was tasty and not overly sweet, as was the strawberry lemonade, and the pistachio croissant, summer berry and lemon pastry, and pain aux raisin were fresh and delicious! The staff were friendly and service was speedy! We hope to return again before we head home later in the week! 🥐🤍

I’m a daily visitor to the York Colliergate store and the team are absolutely wonderful! I love popping in for my lunchtime coffee, regularly served by Kate who is a diamond! She’s so warm and friendly, everyone is, it’s so nice to see such a wonderful team they give off a such a wonderful atmosphere! Plus the coffee is stunning!
