V's Artisan Kitchen

This cafe is a great place to visit, whether you’re a local or a visitor to the city. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a relaxing atmosphere perfect for chatting with a group. They offer a wide range of sweet pastries, savoury options like pizza, and drinks, all of which are generously sized at a great price. I recommend the biscoff milkshake and Oscar’s brownie cookie sandwich. Truthfully the best cafe in York. I will 100% be back often.

I pop into this cafe often as I work a few doors down. Plenty of beautiful pastries and desserts to indulge from. Easily the best cafe on Gillygate. Wonderful staff/owners too

If you are in York this is a must visit place for wonderful home cooked food and drinks made by a wonderful Greek Lady. (Vicky - I think). I had the Courgette and Feta frittata and my OH had the spinach and feta in crispy filo pastry. The crowning glory was the Portokalopita a filo and orange infused cake a taste of Greece. We chatted with the owner who was absolutely lovely and made us feel totally at home. I would not hesitate to return here. Ευχαριστώ πολύ

Myself and my partner went for a quick bite after midday. We had two Pork Rolls and two Dubai Brownies and just WOW. Genuinely, the best lunch I've ever had. The service and atmosphere was exceptional also. A lovely owner who is very passionate about her work, and a cute, relaxing atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!!!
