Just bought a chicken, bacon and leek pasty. As you can see from the picture there's no chicken to be seen, just a few bits of leek and some sorry form of bacon that didn't taste of anything. I took this back to the store after a few bites because I thought I might have been given a cheese and onion pasty but they assured me it was the chicken, bacon and leek. So I continued eating hoping the chicken would make an appearance, and so it did....1 small piece of chicken in the whole pasty. £6.79 for a very disappointing experience.
Rushed schedule, needed a quick bite and saw west Cornwall pasty co. At entrance to the York train station. Would’ve settled for a bag of crisps, but the meat pies looked hot and delicious! Tyler recommended the chicken tikka, and it was excellent— perfect for a cold York winter. I’ll be back!
Today we popped into the stations shop for a latte and it was absolutely wonderful. Katya was very friendly and helpful too. It really made a perfect ending to our day in York to have someone so friendly to have a quick chat with. We’re excited to come visit again and will make sure to come back and say hello.
I love this place, I absolutely do and whenever I see a WCPC, I buy one however, today's experience was poor! I bought a chicken and leek pasty which cost £6.89! Which is by far more than average, the pasty itself was boarding cold by this point and not up to the usual standard. To top it off, the service was poor, barely a welcome and if anything, quite abrupt and a 'couldn't care less' attitude. Below satisfactory experience!
Popped in after feeling peckish begore getting my train, had a lovely extra large pasty and a coffee Dawn and Tyler served at the till and we're very polite Great experience all around
