We recently brought our daughter in to have her first helmet fitted, and Jon couldn’t have been more helpful, knowledgeable, or attentive. He really put us at ease, taking the time to ensure we found the best-fitting helmet for our daughter while sharing useful advice on how a helmet should sit to provide the safest protection. Jon even went the extra mile by ordering the helmet in our daughter’s preferred colour and design, which we truly appreciated. His expertise and care left us feeling completely reassured as parents that she would be riding in the most suitable helmet. We were so impressed with the whole experience and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Jon’s knowledge and customer service are unmatched. We’ll definitely be back in the future. A huge thank you from us!

En route to a tour in Scotland I noticed CycleStreet's "Quick Fixes" strapline, and called in due to a gear-change issue. I was given an expert assessment and advice following precise diagnostic questions. A derailleur fitted elsewhere before the trip was pronounced unsuitable for the bike, and precise details given about what was required. I was able to telephone ahead to another shop on my route who had the part and were willing to fit it. All-in-all excellent help, all for no immediate reward, apart from contributing to the sum of the cycle-community's satisfaction. I would certainly come here for all my requirements if I lived in York, and feel sad there is no-where comparable where I live!

Bought my boy a Frog bike from here a couple of years ago, they were very helpful advising on sizing etc and patient too. He loves it so much he's been badgering me to get my old bike fixed to go out with him, so after 10 years sat in a garage I took it in today assuming it needed a big annual service. Was actually advised a cheaper half year service would be fine as it's actually in decent nick. In these days where every penny counts, that sort of service goes a long way.
