Evans Cycles

I went into Evan’s cycles in York and spoke to Ryan. Ryan had great customer service and very helpful and knowledgable. He was very patient as it took me some time to decide what to buy as I had been on a long lunch, and had difficulty confirming my address for the order. A great fun new bike day 👍

I wanted to get a bike for my son for Christmas and found the bike he wanted at Evans in York. The staff are absolutely amazing, friendly, very knowledgeable and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble and there wasn’t a sales push, they all just genuinely wanted to help and find the best bike for my son. I cannot recommend them enough and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again. Absolutely fantastic store at York!

The member of staff on Sunday afternoon (21/09/25) very helpfully and efficiently fixed the slipped bike chain which had just occurred on my bike. When offered a small tip for his good work, he insisted that it was not necessary and that he was just glad he could help and so for that, I'm grateful to him.

Thanks to Damon for all the help. Picked up a new big for my son had help with sizing and testing. Picked up the next day after a full safety check and helped size up a helmet upon collection too. Highly recommended the store and everyone who works there.

About to embark on a 170mile ride from York to Leicester and stupidly forgot to charge my di2 - the guys at Evens were life savers! Went out of their way to help and all with a smile and a laugh. Couldn’t ask for better customer service. Can’t recommend enough.
