Recycle York (Bike Shop)

This shop has the best google reviews I 've seen, and for good reason. A great selection of used bikes and kit. Although they didnt provide tubeless tyres/accessories, they told me everything I needed to know about fixing them, and even gave me their own brass shraeder adapter, as they had sold their last one! As fellow cyclists, you feel they have your back. Went to York for a day trip and decided to visit, based on previous reviews. Thanks.

The Recycle team are absolutely fantastic. I took a broken seat clamp in and was quickly rewarded with a replacement, at no cost. They’ve got a great selection of bikes, parts and a service team that know exactly what they’re taking about. They’ve also got a genuine team GB skinsuit from the great Chris Hoy! Very friendly and helpful staff! They helped me fit the entire bike into the case and didn’t charge me anything. I’ve come here several times for small issues, and they’ve always been happy to help. Really appreciate their kindness and support – highly recommended!

I’ve been there twice—first for a full service, which cost around £30, and everything was perfect. The second time, I had an issue with my brakes. Mason helped me fix it on the spot and didn’t even charge me. Huge shout-out to these guys: professional service, affordable prices, and really friendly staff. Highly recommended!

When I came to this store I had a trouble with my gear chain having slipped off, my back tire slightly deflated and the wheel attachments loose. In less than 5 minutes a mechanic named John solved all my issue and didn't even ask for payment. Excellent service!
