The Amnesty Bookshop

This is, to put it simply, the best charity shop bookshop I've ever come across (and yes, I've been to Cambridge, Oxford, Norwich, Brighton, Bristol and London Oxfams and Amnesty's, among others). The selection is superb, the space itself is airy, light and stylish and the overall vibe is fantastic.

Really great second hand bookshop. Double fronted street presence. Something caught my eye in the window and I ended up coming out with six books.... oh noooo! Ha ha. I can think of worse vices/addictions than books. Light, spacious, not crammed at all, places to sit to peruse pre purchase and hefty and then some ancient, timber beams. Lovely! Helpful chap at the counter, thank you. Very reasonably priced too. A return visit will be in order. Deffo recommends this shop if you love books. (P.S. Sorry I made such a large gap in your window display!)

One of those charity shops specialised in second hand books that quickly becomes a favourite. The shop is spacious and you’ll find yourself moving between the shelves without bothering other fellow treasure seekers. Another aspect that characterises this shop is that prices are very reasonable. The moment you enter this shop it becomes clear that this charity has managed to succeed in appealing to your solidarity to their mission without ripping you off with excessive prices. Hope they keep it that way for years to come. It guarantees loyal customers.

Wonderful bookshop with a great selection of books. I agree with previous reviews that the window displays and also displays at the front of the store tempt me in. I like the spaciousness and the seating area too. Came away with three excellent looking books at the weekend and can't wait for my next visit.
