Absolute jewel box. Karen hand-selects every book in the shop and if she doesn't have it she can get it for you in sometimes just 1 day. Her greatest joy is pairing a child with just the right book. She goes out of her way to support local schools and school events, organize book signings, host children's writing classes, participate in book crawls, etc. Always something going on at Blue House! And yes, even two bookcases of young adult and adult books. Something for everyone.
A wonderful little book store, particularly for kids! Good selection of English children's books not necessarily available outside the UK (fun for gifts). The proprietor was friendly and helpful.

Super friendly bookstore owner. The place is truly built like a dream house that any young book readers would love. Although overall the majority of the books provided in this store is for children and teens, would still recommend a look!
The owner was exceptionally kind, helpful, warm and welcoming. Great selection of books for younger readers. Highly recommended.
