I got married in November this year and bought my dress exactly 1 year before my wedding, it was the first wedding dress shop I’d ever been to and my dress was the first dress I ever put on! Sharon picked it out based on what I said I wanted and she got it spot on immediately! From the get go Sharon was so friendly and made me feel at ease straight away, I loved my dress so much we bought it there and then! Thank you so much Sharon for finding me my perfect dress, I couldn’t wait to wear it and felt amazing in it on my wedding day!

I bought my dress from Brides of York for my wedding back in August. Sharon provided 5-star customer service from the word go. She gave expert advice during one-on-one appointments, so you really felt as though you were getting a superior level of service. The quality of the dress was incredible and the style and fabric suited the wedding venue perfectly, something that Sharon suggested that I consider and I wouldn’t have thought about otherwise. Initially I choose Brides of York because of it's proximity to the train station. I wanted to experience wedding dress shopping with my mum & as we live in opposite directions, York is a lovely place to meet up. What a brilliant decision it was. The shop is in a beautiful old building, and at the top of the stairs you meet a smiling, welcoming Sharon. I had no set ideas of which dress I wanted, so I found Sharon's experience & advice to be invaluable. I found 'the one' after trying on 3 other styles. There were tears all around. The gorgeous Tiffany by Alan Hannah, I felt & looked amazing in it all day! I found the whole 'buying a wedding dress' completely stress free, it really was an unforgettable, fun experience thanks to Sharon. I shall miss our catch ups. Thank you XXXX
