Sahara Boutique - York

Well located and well stocked shop in the middle of York. Plenty of places to sit down while clothes are being tried on, and the staff are friendly and helpful. For some reason the alarm was being (repeatedly) tested while we were there, which was a bit noisy and disruptive. Presumably this isnt a regular occurrence.

Today I popped into the wonderful Sahara in York. The staff are totally fabulous and help find things that suit me and give me honest criticism when I try on, yet there is no pressure at all to buy. They had an event today and a purchase resulted in a goody bag. Wonderful things - necklace, chocs, Neil's Yard product, etc. Also a lucky dip with different % off for purchases. Love it!

Would thoroughly recommend Sahara . From the first telephone call to their London shop who directed me to Lindsey and her staff at York . Unusual clothing and beautiful quality and they fit . Want to feel a million dollars without spending a fraction of it go to Sahara .

I had a telephone query, and the girl I spoke to was so friendly and helpful. Made my morning to know there are people who obviously enjoy their work, and represent the brand so beautifully.
