My daughter wanted a T-shirt, but unfortunately the only one they had was damaged. The assistant told us to go to the till to order one and get free next day delivery. For five days the money was pending in my daughter’s account and then disappeared. I got in touch with customer services by email which said someone would be in touch in 2-3 working days, and that did not happen. Then the money was pending again in my daughter’s account for another five days and again disappeared. This was freaking my daughter out not knowing what was going on. I got in touch yet again with customer services to say it looked like it wasn’t going to be delivered and stop trying to take money out. We got a cancelled order, but never got an explanation as to why/what was happening. Then an email was received to say she had a free next day delivery code. This was a total joke as she never got her order three weeks after being told she would get it the next day. This is an absolutely terrible service and my daughter will never shop again with this company.

First of all, I will preface this by saying that I never shop at Urban Outfitters. I think they are equally as bad, if not worse, than clothing stores such as Primark. But, at least Primark users know what Primark is and don't shy away from this. The Urban Outfitters brigade seem to think that they have a superior taste of fashion and that their music taste is underground, babe you listen to Clairo and wear fake 'vintage'. All jokes aside, I bought something just cheap this week from here as I waslimited to what was on the high street, but as I said I would normally avoid due to the pretentiousness of the place. I had to return the said item as when I had purchased it, the two girls serving me were pulling the security tag with some force to try to remove it. Unfortunately, when I had arrived home, I did realise that they had actually torn the product. This was slightly frustrating as I feel that they were probably aware of the said fact, but by then I had already paid and therefore they let me go my merry way. However, I really wasn't that fussed and their customer service besides this was completely fine, not exceptional but fine. I returned today to return the item, and this is where it all went hugely downhill. I was ignored for however long by a member of staff who clearly saw me. She seemed to be organising some dresses or something of the sort. She then returns to the till, aggressively side eyeing me and typing with her obnoxiously long nails. She calls me over and I let her know I would like to return said item. I was just about to explain why before she cut me off and said 'do you have a receipt!'. I proceed to pass her the receipt, and quite frankly the following behaviour she displayed is the worst I have ever seen from someone on shift at a job. She is looking over to this girl, who was merely shopping and looking at price tags of the dresses that I believe the member was organising(???) prior to deciding to serve me. She proceeded to repeatedly look at this customer and roll her eyes, sigh, tut, and she appeared very irrationally enraged. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and quite frankly upset at her behaviour, I had the right mind to question her on her behaviour. She then asks me why I am returning the item, and I had already tried to explain before she had cut me off. I answered her in the same tone she had spoken to me with and I very bluntly told her the reason. Absolutely horrific customer service, and if I wasn't such an understanding human I would have told her exactly what I thought of her lack of respect for her job and other human beings. I had been at work all day too, in a very stressful intense job may I add, but I never once projected that onto her. I appreciate that it was near the end of the day, but it is just inexcusable. I'm not sure of her name unfortunately, but I do think she deserves to be publicly made an example of. She had a bob, tattoo on one arm, multiple oversized rings, long chrome nails, and just looked as distasteful as she acted. I am sure she will get really far beyond her retail job with her lack of self-respect and disgusting attitude. All you employ are a bunch of 20 year olds who dress 'y2k' and that do not have an ounce of personality.

Today we entered the York store fifteen minutes before closing only to be greeted with three members of staff staring at us, telling us we had to leave and if we wanted to buy something we had to do it now. They were extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. I told them I understood they were near close and rushed around to find the one skirt I was after. When telling them I just was looking for a skirt online I was greeted with a sarcastic response from the young man who told me “well we’ve got loads”. If I could give them zero stars I would and I didn’t realise that fifteen minutes before store closing you could ambush customers out. Absolutely disgraceful.

Staff were very friendly however i’m so disappointed with the lack of accessibility for a wheelchair user, like my mum. Got directed to the lift which was surrounded by random boxes full of coat hangers and other random things and when up the lift on the second floor there was stairs to go up to actually get onto the floor to the changing rooms
