We popped in today for coffee and cake and we really enjoyed our visit!! I’ve never been but always walked past it coming into town! So we decided to try it. It has a nice atmosphere inside and it was busy. There was a great selection of lunches which we will try in the future! The coffees and cakes were nice and fresh!

Absolutely delightful little cafe in Yorks city centre by the gardens. We were a group of three and got their coffees and an assortment of cakes, all of which were superb. The barista Matt was meticulous and catered to our requests, the pumpkin spice latte was the best of the season! Our servers Kate and Richard also made the stay so friendly and cozy, I highly recommend this spot as a refuge from the christmas chaos ;)

We were looking for a nice, small cafe and Mannetti's immediately drew our attention. Small, local cafe with nice tables outside and inside. We ordered 2 Americano with milk on the side + 2 quiches. They were absolutely delicious, served hot with chutney. Coffee was large and tasty. Everything was in reasonable price. Staff working there is very kind and friendly, you can definitely relax there.

Mannettis recently did us a package of afternoon tea for a hen party in a local York area. We needed it delivering too, and this was offered and planned perfectly for us. Now, before I tell you how this afternoon tea knocked absolute spots of many afternoon teas I've had in York (that were good in themselves) you might want to take a seat for this bit. I'm going to upload some photos of what we got to eat. You might want to look away now. Thick salt beef, delicious creamy blue cheese, tangy sweet chilli jam with fresh ham, red peppers, thick crumbly cheese with chutney... Then the scones and WHITE CHOCOLATE heaven melt brownies... Omg. The chocolate ones were insane too. Summer frangipanes popped berries in my mouth - we were so happy! Kate was also so kind and communicative - we had 8 of us and she advised on knocking a few things off that we wouldn't be able to eat - so she's super honest and trustworthy too and got the perfect afternoon tea to budget. Also I can vouch for the delicious coffee here, so if you don't enjoy a coffee and cake here now or the salt beef and blue cheese you're missing out!

Me and the 2 small humans were in York yesterday for a little cheeky day trip. We arrived at 1130 so an early lunch time beckoned. We walked past the usual chains, the Costa and Starbucks but I wanted more than that, better than that. It needed to be excellent coffee for starters. And food that wasn’t a plastic wrapped sandwich or a warmed up cheese toastie and a stale muffin. So a quick google search came up with a few independent options which got decent reviews. We selected Mannetti’s. And what a little gem of a place it was. The staff were spot on. The decor/vibes/artwork were nice too. But more importantly, the flat white was excellent. The kids got a smoothie and a chocolate milkshake which they reported back as being very good. And the food was also great. Kids being kids, lunch was a brownie! (We’re on holiday, I allowed it). And I had the scotch egg with deli salad bowl and chutney which was an absolute taste sensation. Bravo 👏 We shall return when back in York. Mannetti’s ticks my boxes ✅✅
