Fantastic spot. Definitely recommend. Visited for lunch and had the Provolone and Pastrami toastie which was delicious! For the quality of food, this is a cheap lunch spot. Wines also top quality and nice. Staff were lovely and I felt relaxed in there visiting solo and reading my book.

The perfect place for cheese lovers❤️ We booked lunch for 5. Fabulous choice of cheeses with info on the chalkboard and a lovely cheese menu. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. My Nduja, Rosary Goats Cheese & Piggy’s Hot Honey on toast was to die for😋 This place is clean. The quality of food is great. Service was quick and the young lady was really pleasant and friendly, even offering helpful advice on local events, when we mentioned we were planning to book an evening walk involving historic tales. I will definitely be eating here again when I next visit York! It’s yummy! Thank you😍
