It was really sad to see today the attitude of the manager and an employee speaking too and about a customer. The customer had additional needs and wanted to know if they would reduce a top from £5.75 down to £5 to buy it. To be fair, the top wasn’t worth £3 and the condition it was in, but that’s not what annoyed me, It was the attitude of the manager who clearly stated to the lady “I will not reduce it and I am the manager”. She then chuckled and said to the other member of staff behind the counter that “we are not a car boot sale we are a business”. I actually really felt sorry for the customer and offered to buy it for them, but the managers attitude was that bad, I decided to walk out the shop and leave it at that. It doesn’t cost anything to show some manners, decency and a little bit of respect, especially to people who are not as well off as yourself and in need of a little help sometimes.

Unfortunately, like some of the other reviewers, I experienced similarly poor service from the older woman at the till. Everyone has a bad day, and I'm sorry that her poor service marred an otherwise fine shopping experience.

Very high prices. Condition isn't all great. Maybe if things were ironed and washed before selling then the prices would be fair. Management needs to take notice. We walked in for 2 minutes and overhead other people complaining about prices. Simple method: price low, turnover stock, keep the cash flowing. You get free stock daily. If the rails are full, do a sale.

No refund on faulty items

Had an unpleasant experience in this shop earlier: made an enquiry as to whether I could refund an unsuitable purchase and was rudely told there was no refunds unless item is faulty. There is nothing displaying this policy so I questioned this. The assistant was challenging and hostile, along with two other young women standing smirking at the till. As I turned to leave, there was a comment passed and they started laughing. As someone who has supported this shop for years, I will no longer be going in or donating goods. Customer Service? I don't think so.
