Aladdins Cave - Second Hand Furniture York

Found a wardrobe that fits perfectly in the space we needed on Facebook market place at Aladdin’s cave. Billy Joe sorted delivery out too and all was great on arrival. Thankyou

Several days after visiting this place I am still wondering what I experienced and how I was treated. I will refrain from calling it by its real name. However, if yours English is your second language and your accent is not local, I do not recommend visiting this place. Whatever you say, your speech will be interrupted and you will be told that your English is incomprehensible and you will be asked to ask the question in an understandable other way even if you do not finish asking the question. After several attempts to communicate with this gentleman I left the store with a big smile, I did not believe that such people still exist, especially since he was a young man.

Went down to see Billy for a washer, no messing about , helped me load it in to the van, paid and gone, washer is like new works as it should no problems at all

Tried to go there during the opening times but it was closed (no idea why). Tried to call them but it said invalid number. Not sure if they actually want to sell their stuff. I work in customer service and I am really sorry but this in incredible terrible customer service. How much effort would it have been to put a sign there that says "We are on annual leave" ? I am really sorry but you can't be working that hard if putting up a sign is too much effort ;) It was 2 disappointments so we left 2 reviews. Especially after this incredibly rude answer I will definitely leave the review as it is. I was considering to change it if you would have apologised instead of saying "we are having a well earned break (without giving any notice)".

We were looking forward to seeing what this place had to offer since we were reccomended to go there, because of work its been difficult to find time to go there but we had an hour before work on saturday to check it out to we made sure we got there on time so we could have plenty of time to look around. We sat there for 10 minuites and still nothing as open, we tried to call the number posted out side and it was wrong, not the best experience. Would it really be that hard to just put a sign or even a notice on google to let people know, what do you expect to happen? for people just to know automatically??
