Counter Interiors - Kitchen & Bedroom Showroom York

We were referred Like by the London office of Sub Zero as Counter Interiors are their regional supplier in Yorkshire. Luke went through all of the options with us at his show room. All ordered in time for installation. Unfortunately there was a delay in the building so he very kindly stored them for us until the builder needed them. He personally came to ensure the delivery was smooth and the kitchen surrounds were correct. Counter Interiors is a great company to work with and they are always willing to give advice when we needs it.

We initially heard about Counter Interiors from our Architect. We looked at other kitchen companies within different price ranges, however we chose Counter Interiors as we really liked the personal service, obvious quality and also because Luke was able to project manage other building work that was necessary alongside the kitchen fit to finish our project. The initial design process was smooth, productive and exciting! We were able to chose everything from materials, colours, wall finishes, even flooring all from the samples and displays in the showroom. Luke talked us through every step and was great at offering solutions when some of our ideas just couldn’t work within the dimensions of the room we had to work with. The actual work was carried out by a main fitter and contractors for the plumbing, electrics etc, who were all easy to communicate and work with and who did a great job. Apart from a few blips with the ordering of items and delays in delivery, the work went well. What helped a lot was everyone’s ability and willingness to liaise with other people working on different parts of the house at the time, which made the whole renovation process so much smoother. The finished kitchen looks gorgeous and is everything we wanted. It’s a pleasure to congregate and cook in such a lovely room and we are delighted with the look, the quality and the functionality. The green range cooker and the stylish yet functional utility room are our stand out features, but everything about the kitchen is light, airy and classy. Just what we dreamed of.

We popped into Counter Interiors in Clifton Moor after hearing good things, and they definitely lived up to the reputation. The showroom is brilliant — loads of real kitchen and bedroom setups to walk around, and you can get a proper feel for the quality and finishes. The team were friendly and really knew their stuff, happy to answer questions without being pushy. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do. The quality of the products is top-end and the design ideas they showed us were spot on. If you’re looking for a proper, high-quality kitchen or bedroom and want good service to match, they’re well worth a visit. Highly recommend!
