Wonderful place with really helpful and knowledgable staff! The lady behind the desk gave me great advice on fabric scissors and was so lovely. I'll definitely be going here in the future for all my sewing needs.
Great little shop in york. Staff very helpful and the array of buttons is immense! Gets busy when xmas market is on so try going midweek when less busy.
This shop is an amazing place to visit. It’s tiny, but absolutely chock full of all manner of creative ideas: wool, buttons, ribbons, scissors, crotchet hooks, knitting patterns, craft kits… the list is endless! I‘ve been popping into this shop for many years -it’s like being a child in a sweet shop-there are so many wonderful things and I want them all! I also appreciate that there is no hard sell-I was making enquiries about tatting materials but in the end, changed my mind. No problem! If you are looking for specific haberdashery, if you are looking for a craft kit or simply need a knitting pattern, this really is the best place in York to find what you need.
great choice and lovely shop. wasn't very welcoming when we went in though unfortunately. We may not have been their normal clientele
