Just Smile Designs

This a quaint little shop of items with designs from original artworks. Great for local gifts, adorable baby clothes, and unique bags for gifting. I was looking for a local item to take back as a gift. Perfect find!

This shop is absolutely amazing! It's small, almost easy to miss from the outside but you'll be so glad if you go in and take a look. It is located just outside the main centre of York its surroundings are just gorgeous. Me and my Mom and have been in every time we have visited York and we never miss it! Kerry and her Mom were so kind to us, everywhere you look in the store there is another wonderful item. It is a lovely family business, the daughter, Kerry, does all the designs so every item in store is unique and beautiful. I bought a beanie and a backpack and they're so cute! This shop is a must visit 🙌 Thank you so much!

What an incredible shop! I wanted to buy everything in the store! The designs and drawings are so cute and well done. I was even more impressed when I was informed it was the shop owner and her mom who do everything! Such beautiful stuff! If you are in York and you are looking for gifts or just something special for yourself, make sure you stop in and take a look. You will no doubt fall in love.

Absolutely fell in love with this shop and the artists work. I purchased a glass tumbler, coaster, pen and a bookmark. All are great! Since i have come home i haven’t stopped looking at the online shop for what else i can buy. Will definitely be returning next time i’m in York!

I previously bought a lovely plant pot from this shop last time I was on holiday in York, unfortunately this plant pot was broken in a bad storm we had when I got home. I knew when I went up to York again, I must visit this fabulous little shop. Located just 2 minutes from York Minster, it was easy to walk to with its pink sign on the outside. To my elation they had a selection of homemade plant pots, and I bought another pot, which is in the attached photos, even more beautiful than the first pot with intricate flowers painted on. Along with this purchase I also got costars and woollen fake flowers. Each design in the store is so original, like nothing you’ll see on the high street and I’m happy to say they are all displayed proudly in my home. Quant, unique and simple adorable are just some of the words that come to mind when thinking of Just Smile Designs, me and my daughter love this shop so much. I hope to visit the store again!
