We are a family owned and run shop committed to supplying a wide and eclectic range of gifts and homeware. Find us tucked away at the end of Goodramgate, next to Monk Bar - a five minute walk from the Minster.
We stock a wide selection of tugs, throws, handbags, jewellery and decorative accessories from around the world, many of which are fairly traded. We also make many of our own products, or supply kits for you to make your own.
We renovate and upholster interesting items of furniture, which are for sale in the shop and in the back room we have an interesting variety of vintage finds.

A delightful lady told me all I needed to know about the gift I'd chosen. The shop is filled with rustic artisan type giftware with very reasonably priced articles so it was not difficult for me to choose a Golden Wedding present. Well pleased with the experience.
Lots of quirky and unusual stuff at reasonable prices
Great shop, found an item online that was out of stock, contacted Mark and he went above and beyond to get the item back in even went as far as to get it hand delivered. Would highly recommend, we need more shops with such great customer service like Cleggs. We love the rug, high quality and looks great.
Wonderful shop in York with such lovely staff. I could buy so much in there, but, since we're in lockdown, I've bought some cotton throws/blankets from their online range that will be a great addition to a home improvement project I've got on at the minute.
A lovely shop filled with beautiful bright unique items something for everyone . If you want something different this is the place to shop and a lovely family run business
