I popped into Pextons today and left feeling genuinely looked after. They were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Their kind of thoughtful help is rare these days. The store itself has a lovely atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back when I need to purchase and I’ll recommend it to friends. Thank you for making my day brighter!

I was rescued by Pextons this week when the front wheel of my grandson's pram fell off! I pushed it on the back two wheels to Pextons DIY on Bishy Road in the hope that they could help. A wonderful cheery, unflappable man called Jonathan fixed the problem in no time and the staffvwaved the cost of 25p! Instead it was suggested that I might donate to charity which of course I was more than happy to do. Pextons is an amazing shop with really helpful staff. I would recommend them to everyone. What a great independent small business…well worth supporting! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff paired with a Tardis like interior that boasts an impressive range of items is a winning combination. They also offer a range of services, I have had keys cut while I wait, and I have had some knives and garden sheers sharpened as well….to a very high standard. Pextons is great!

A toy shop for grownups. They have a little bit of everything, including advice and problem-solving. Many times I've popped in while in the middle of a project to get that one thing I've forgotten. Other times I pop in just to see what grabs my fancy, what thing I don't really need but can't possibly live without. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Also, they don't waste your time. If they don't know or they can't provide what you need, they will tell you so and point you somewhere else rather than ramble on.

A treasure of a local shop, you'll always get friendly and helpful service and all sorts of goods that you probably didn't go in for. They have a fantastic range of items. The staff also go above and beyond to help in any way they can, for example they fixed my son's bike saddle without batting an eyelid and without being asked, which saved us from a really disappointed little boy and turned our day around. They are great with advice and will happily order in items that are missing. Pexton's is how all businesses should be run.
