I have often called into the store over the years and was always left with a good impression of the polite, welcoming and knowledgeable staff, as well as a feeling that I was not being pressured or hurried in any way. When I decided that I was going to purchase a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, I contacted Max to make the arrangements having remembered him from my previous visit. He liaised with Blancpain as the specific model configuration I wanted was not in stock with Berry's at the time. The watch was available to pick up approximately 4 weeks later and I was kept upto date with the process throughout. I would happily recommend Berry's and in particular the No1 Stonegate store to anyone looking to make a special purchase in future.

I cannot recommend No 1 Stonegate enough! From the moment I walked in, I felt like part of a family. Max was absolutely incredible - attentive, patient, and genuinely caring. He went above and beyond to help me find the perfect Tissot, and even took the time to show me the coffee they offer in-store. As a barista myself, I can confidently say it is absolutely banging! I’ve visited other jewellers before, but nothing compares to the warmth, professionalism, and personal touch of this store. Max’s dedication and kindness truly made the experience unforgettable. Thank you for making me feel so welcomed and valued, I will definitely be back!

Myself and my Fiancé had the most welcoming experience at this store . From arriving we were greeted nicely and assisted Expertly and professionally by Max . We felt that there was no pressure being put on us and Max was ready to answer any questions that we had . The ring we purchased was then custom made for us and sent to our closest branch for collection . Overall the customer service that we received was excellent and we love the ring that we purchased .

Max and the team were so helpful with me and my son when we came in to buy his first proper watch - they really took the time to go through the options, and also gave us a great deal! We’re both so happy with our purchases, and would recommend Berry’s to anyone, with any budget.

I had the absolute pleasure of buying my wife’s first luxury watch from Berry’s (1 Stonegate). From beginning to end the service was nothing short of exceptional. Max, the sales consultant that I dealt was very professional and knowledgeable. He helped us throughout the whole buying experience and was more than happy to show me a wide selection of watches to help her make an informed decision on which watch to purchase. She ended up choosing an Omega DeVille and I left the store with a Tudor 1926 moon phase watch and an Omega. Max went above and beyond during our visit as he took some links out of another ladies watch so that my wife could leave the store wearing the watch! She had a horrible few days in hospital over the Christmas period so the experience was a lovely one for sure! I’d 100% recommend going down to Berry’s to see Max if you’re in the Market for a luxury watch and when I am in York next time, I’ll always go and check out what they have in store.
