Cavendish Jewellers

Last Friday 17/10 I travelled to York from Hertfordshire to go back to Cavendish Jewellers where I bought a ring with the money my dad left me in 2019. Without going in to loads of detail, I wanted to check that the stone in my ring was the original one as I genuinely believed it wasn't having placed it in to a different jewellers for a repair. I hadn't slept the night before with worry. Dianne was an absolute professional. She could see I was really worried and did no more but take the ring off me, look up all the details on the system, cleaned it and carefully took time to inspect it and compare it to the details she had. She confirmed it was the original stone and to say I was relieved was an understatement. She even cleaned my friends ring for her too. I am so very grateful and without a shadow of doubt I will back. I can highly recommend Cavendish if you are looking for a professional jewellers. Thank you Dianne.

I came in for 2 separate purchases within the last 3 months and received very friendly service each time which I was delighted about, today I went back and asked if they would do any kind of re-sell or part exchange as I didn’t want my ring anymore for personal reasons, this was met with nothing but sarcasm and nasty comments, such a shame as I originally thought this place was well worth the travel to York

Wonderful experience choosing an engagement ring. Staff went out of their way to make the experience as magical as they could. Cannot thank Diane enough. Very patient, professional and genuine. Highly recommend this store and fantastic range of art deco rings

amazing customer service - repaired my engagement ring after it was slightly out of warranty. as i don’t live in york they arranged for this to be sent out and posted back with no issues. we will be back for our wedding rings before sep 2026!! thank you again.

Absolutely shocking experience in the York store, I took in a Ring and Bracelet and the lad who served me was a blonde skinny lady who seem to take control, she must have been the manager? Awful customer service, questioned me on where I'd got it from (passed down via family) she asked me what i expected and I said what would you offer be? She took one of the items and slammed it down on a large set of scales behind her , shocking ill never return and
