Ogden of Harrogate - York

My, now, fiancé and I had a wonderful experience engagement ring shopping at Ogden's. This was one of the last shops we visited, and we had both grown a bit tired of pushy sales people by this point in our day, but the ladies here were so lovely, answered all our questions and were never once pushy about making a sale. The ring was resized very fast. I'm no expert but I feel like we got a lot for the money compared to other jewellery stores we looked at. We will definitely try to get back to York to pick our wedding rings from here, would highly recommend!

Shirley is first class, very helpful personal service. She was patient with me, let me have time to think on my purchase, she even found all the extras provided by the manufacturer. I would certainly come again...many thanks Shirley!!

Just wanted to say that my wife to be and I went round lots of ring shops in York, and the level of service we received here by Carla was unmatched anywhere else. She took a genuine interest in what we wanted, went to great lengths to not force anything on us that wasn't perfect, then when we went back she remembered us and made us feel like it was the only customer she had ever had. If you like real gems and magical jewellery this is the place for you. They offer a bespoke service of high-end stones and precious metals. It's really easy to get carried away. I visited with my partner/fiance and we went away and compared prices and quality at jewellers at Meadowhall the quality of the stones and uniqueness of pieces at Ogdens was far superior. As for the price, it's comparable. If you want to buy run-of-the-mill jewellery that everyone will buy then go to your high street store ( and you'll still pay a lot for it) if you want quality stones and high-end metals that are special then Ogdens is worth a visit.

My partner and I received exceptional service after a full day of ring shopping around York. The team were incredibly helpful and we left the shop with the most beautiful engagement ring! We highly recommend Ogdens!
