Cute little church hall building, well liked by locals and tourists for the Café inside that offers fantastic sandwiches, cakes and hot drinks.

St. Crux church hall was built in 1888 on the site of St crux church which was demolished in 1887. The grade ll listed building is now used as a cafe and for markets. Some features from the original church have been incorporated into the hall.

If this is the church that serves tea and cakes during the day, twenty out of ten! Real home made cakes, tea, coffee, soup all served by friendly, genuine staff! Excellent value for money too! The bosses of all the high street restaurants, coffee shops in Britain should visit here and take note!!
