Brew York

Brew York

Description

Located in York’s bustling city centre, just off Walmgate, Brew York is a showpiece ten barrel craft brewery alongside its tap room and beer hall, celebrating the best local ales and redefining the city’s position in the UK brewing scene.

Featuring 40 taps the Beer Hall can boast the largest and widest selection of beers, lagers and ciders in York and its surrounding area. With its own purpose built kitchen we can deliver some of the best street food in the area alongside your beer, thanks to the in-house Born To Lose burger kitchen bringing you  incredible burgers and Korean inspired sides amongst other one off specials.

In addition to the awesome Beer Hall we have a smaller Tap Room located just next door within the brewery building itself. You can sit within touching distance of the fermenting tanks, even the brewers themselves! Come down and enjoy our beer whilst overlooking our latest brews fermenting away, or enjoy a fresh pint in our beer garden opposite the impressive Rowntree Wharf. We have 10 cask beers on rotation as well as 10 keg beer lines including cider and lager lines. A fantastic place to take in a brew and the view, as with the Beer Hall we are fully dog and family friendly.

Nice hidden gem in York just a short walk from town centre and off the tourist trail. Big hall with lots of seating. We were here for a short time as we were fitting a lot in to just a few days, but there is a huge selection on tap in pint, half pint and a smaller option! Small merch stand by the entrance where I grabbed a t shirt and some stickers. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in York

I had a great night at Brew York, the selection of keg beer is awesome. I loved all of the hazy IPAs I tried. I had high hopes for the food but a lot of the dishes had fried elements to them. I opted for a katsu rice bowl, without the sauce, I also removed the fried veggie gzoya - I did try one but it wasn’t great. I also ordered an extra portion of pickled veg and stirred that into the rice which was very tasty. I’ll be back for more beer next time I’m working in York 🍻

50 taps, great food and welcoming staff. The Yuzu guys were really accommodating around an allergy and their food was superb. Would recommend 100%.

Brew York is hands down one of the best craft beer spots in the city! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a great mix of locals and visitors. Their selection of beers is outstanding—whether you love IPAs, stouts, sours, or something experimental, they’ve got you covered. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, happy to recommend brews based on my taste. The food options (especially the loaded fries and bao buns) were delicious and paired perfectly with the beers. The brewery a fun, relaxed vibe. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or just looking for a great place to unwind, Brew York won’t disappoint. Highly recommend!

Had a great few hours at Brew York. An incredible choice of beers and ciders (like a kid in a sweet show for beer lovers!). The prices were good for the quality of beer. My wife had some wine, which she really liked. Lots of space to sit either inside or outside. The place did get very busy later in the day (a good sign!), but still places to sit. I would highly recommend this place to all beer lovers and anyone who likes a drink in general.
