Maidenhead Aquatics York

I bought 8 guppies here two weeks ago and all but 2 have died from an ich outbreak. When I returned yesterday to buy treatment, I noticed fish in the same tank with visible white spots and one dying at the bottom. The tank was marked “not for sale due to heater fault.” Some of the staff have been friendly and helpful, but better general monitoring of fish health would help prevent issues like this.

The staff were very helpful as I needed fish for my tank. The lady was informative and understood what I needed for my tank to flourish. My cats are also happy with the choice of fish. ( as you can see)

I have been using this local fish shop recently as part of a project we've been doing in our class - Fishkeeper Fry - and have been so impressed with the staff and the shop. They've all gone our of their way to help us and have been such a source of knowledge for me and my class (who are all new to this hobby)! Peter, Lee and Greg thanks so much for all your help so far. I will be continuing to use Maidenhead as my class keeps the hobby going, expanding our tank and learning more.
